What you should know about the power of English teachers to promote your book

I’ve always had an appreciation for what English teachers do because of how mine influenced my love of reading and writing.
Here are a few reasons why writers, and especially those who wish to find a following for their books, should appreciate and respect English teachers.
English teachers (and pretty much all teachers I’ve known) are voracious readers. I used to belong to a book club made up of teachers and other professionals who all worked in education. Some of my book club friends belonged to more than one book club, and they were all passionate about reading and recommending books to their friends and co-workers.
